A zoetrope is an old animation machine. A zoetrope is a metal drum with a sequence of image all different but only a little bit when spun it makes the images look like they are moving. the zoetrope was invented in 1834 by British mathematician William George Horne.
Thaumatrope
A thaumatropeis a toy that was popular in the 19th century. A disk with a picture on each side is attached to two pieces of string. When the strings are twirled quickly between the fingers the two pictures appear to blend into one.

The Kinetoscopeis an early motion picture exhibition device. TheKinetoscopewas designed for films to be viewed by one individual at a time through a peephole viewer window at the top of the device. It is also know as the what the butlers saw. Normally the Kinetoscope was filled with node photo's of woman and to show the photo's the machine was winded up using one hand.
